Bowie had a strong connection with Friars Aylesbury during his early career, playing the venue twice in 1971 & then again on 29th Jan 1972, this later gig being the world debut of "The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars". The re-uniting of Visconti & Woodmansey to perform "Ziggy Stardust" again provided a fitting tribute to the relationship between Bowie & Friars Aylesbury.
