Hendrix WHO Woodstock Poster Prog 1970

Scarce Warner Brothers large 8-page promo brochure & poster for the documentary film "Woodstock" (1970).

The centre pages reproduce the famous Woodstock Festival poster (15"x 21 1/2) by Arnold Skolnick (this is normally removed from this brochure). This, however is a rare full 8-page example of this Woodstock film promo. Some of the inside pages have paint stains but the front cover & poster are unaffected as shown.

The Woodstock Festival was held to be the apoogee of the era of Hippy idealism. Although the Festival was typically chaotic & disorganised it witnessed some standout performances including those by Jimi Hendrix & the Who. (C)
