Led Zeppelin Who Pop Proms Programme 1969
Led Zeppelin, The Who "Pop Proms" programme for a series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, 29th June-5th July 1969.
Zeppelin headlined the opening night of this "Pop Proms" event, just one day after their trumphant performance at the Bath Festival on the 28th June '69. Their ear-splitting display at the Albert Hall & a raucous encore of "Long Tall Sally" (joined on stage by the support bands Blodwyn Pig & The Liverpool Scene") further underlined Led Zep's growing stature in the music scene.
The Who closed the "Pop Proms" event on 5th July '69. Their show was also noteworthy for the clash between Teddy Boy fans of the support act, Chuck Berry & The Who's traditional followers, reviving memories of "Mods vs Rockers" in years past.
Other interesting acts who took part in this series of gigs were Fleetwood Mac, The Misunderstood, Amen Corner, The Web etc.
Prog with a slight crease to cover but overall in very good condition.
