The Who Bath Pavilion Concert Flyer 1969
Original Bath Pavilion gig flyer (5"x 8 1/4") promoting concerts July-Aug 1969, including The WHO, the Bonzo Dog Band & Thunderclap Newman.
Interestingly The Who have been incorrectly credited underneath their name with the Thunderclap song "Something In The Air". Although Townshend was the driving force behind Thunderclap Newman (he helped form the band, & produced, arranged & played bass on the "Something.." single) this credit should have been applied underneath Thunderclap Newman's name & not The Who's - such mistakes were fairly common in the 60's as not all printers were up-to-speed with the fast-changing contemporary music scene! The Who played the Bath Pavilion eight times between 1965-69 but this was their last performance at this venue, the band morphing into a stadium group thereafter.
Flyer with a couple of faint folds but overall excellent condition.
