UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for the Jazz documentary "Jazz On A Summer's Day" (1959) this a poster for the 2021 re-release of this film.

The film documented the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival & was described as "probably the best feature length Jazz concert movie ever made", including performances by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Dinah Washington, Thelonious Monk, Chuck Berry etc. Re-released for a special one day viewing at select cinemas in the UK in 2021, a special poster was commissioned, this featuring the artwork of the artist, Tony Stella (see: https://www.tony-stella.com/). The poster composition captures perfectly the vibrant cosmopolitan ethos of the festival. Being a poster for a one day viewing only, the print run for this poster was relatively small.

Poster unfolded, single-sided & in excellent condition. A great piece of poster art & one for real Jazz aficionados too.
