Beatles Let It Be Record Shop Poster 1970

Original "Top 50" Record Shop poster (11"x 14 1/2") for the week of 14th March 1970 with The Beatles "Let It Be" at #2 & Lee Marvin's "Wanderin' Star" at #1.

A poignant poster given that this was the last single released by The Beatles whilst the band was still together. Although this single topped the charts in the US & many other countries it failed to hit #1 in the UK though remained in the charts for 59 weeks & the "Let It Be" LP topped the UK album charts a couple of months later.

Other acts in & around the top of the charts at this time included Simon & Garfunkel, The Jackson 5, Elvis Presley & John Lennon with "Instant Karma" (another indicator of the impending break-up of The Beatles which was marked by Paul McCartney's announcement of this on Apr 10th 1971).

Poster faintly folded & in excellent condition.
