WHO Jethro Tull Marquee Anniversary Flyer 1968

Special foldout (9"x 11 1/2") double-sided "10th Anniversary" gig flyer for the Marquee Club, April 1968, including gigs by the WHO, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck, Fleetwood Mac (possibly replaced by The Nice?), The Nite People, The Gods etc.

Not only an important piece of Marquee memorabilia but this flyer represents a key piece of the history of The WHO too as the Marquee was effectively a "home" venue for the band who played the Marquee 29 times 1964-68. The Who's first show was 24th Nov 1964 & then there was a run of 22 consecutive Tues night residency gigs at the Marquee 1st Dec '64-Apr '65. A three year hiatus followed with The WHO finally returning for several gigs in 1968, starting with their gig listed on this flyer for 23rd Apr '68 as "The Return of the Fabulous THE WHO".

A piece that would frame to great effect. Flyer folded with some neat pen annotations including a box & tick for the WHO gig.
