A 24-page East Village Other counter-culture magazine Vol 5 #38 from 18th Aug 1970.

The East Village Other (also known as EVO) was one of the first New York underground magazines, highly irreverent with lots of artwork illustrations, cartoon features etc.

This particular magazine includes a full page back cover ad for the Canned Heat LP "Future Blues" plus further LP ads for Toe Fat & Rare Earth.

Magazine with some paper loss.
